Roma Europa Festival (Sept. 23rd – Dec. 2nd) – is an avant-garde amalgam of music, art and dance at various venues throughout the city. Dance and drama troupes and artists and musicians from all across the globe take part.
The Rome Film Festival (Oct. 26th-Nov. 5th) – it’s the 12th annual celebration of cinema in Rome. Once again the Auditorium Parco della Musica will be the film festival’s main hub. Director David Lynch and actor Ian McKellan on tap to get awards.
The Auditorium (Oct. – Dec.) – this venue offers exciting music and film tributes throughout the year. This Fall in Rome you’ll find everyone from jazz artist Diana Krall to Italian singer Gigi D’Alessio in addition to cinema and dancing programs.
Picasso in Rome (Sep. 22nd – Jan. 21st) – Extensive art exhibit, Pablo Picasso’s Cubism & Classicism, takes place at the Quirinale (Via XXIV Maggio, 16). It’s open every day and till 10:30p on Fridays and Saturdays.
Monet in Rome (Oct. 19th – Feb. 11th) – The work of the leading impressionist arrives in the Eternal City at the Vittoriano. It’s inside that big white wedding cake monument at the top of Piazza Venezia. The Monet exhibit will be open every day and till 10:00p on Fridays and Saturdays.
