Excuse the reference to Twitter but I feel like this is a “Magical Monday.” Actually I feel like that each and every day I can be at Long Beach Island in New Jersey. Most people will think of the “Jersey Shore” and shudder at the idea of the TV show cast and wonder how the shore can be magical. Yet, insiders know that LBI is a well-kept secret that has travelers returning time and time again.
I will write more about LBI’s places to stay and things to do in coming weeks but today I am focusing on the 
local inhabitants. 
The seagulls which sing to me each morning and calmly carry away the stress of city life. It is their lyrical tune that is carried along by the melody of the waves softly caressing the shore on this perfect island getaway for single travelers looking to escape.
