“Green is the new color of love.” Just check a pack of M & Ms flooding the stores for Valentine’s Day. It’s true. Now the enlightened ones among us have known this for a long time. There is just something special about the green ones.
Oh sure, urban myth would have you believe that the green ones are about as seductive as oysters on the half shell. It’s true; legend has it that they are a powerful aphrodisiac and that foolishness is supported by the fact that the green ones are the only M & Ms sporting a lady mascot. “Sweetie, it’s all true.” The Mars company actually began to capitalize on that theme by introducing them as the new color of love on Valentines Day 2008.
Then they began introducing all different shades of green – teal, mint, aqua. But no, no, no, a thousand times no – there is only one green for purists! Heck, even Van Halen knew that back in the 80s. So, wander to your local candy shop and try them for yourself. See if I’m wrong, I double dog dare you! Now, it’s 4:30am and I’ve just finished my emergency stash, who can sleep?

“Sweetie, it’s all true,” that is hilarious.
