I have always been intrigued by just the idea of the “Kasbah.” It must be all of those old 1940 black and white mystery films I have watched. It’s the Moroccoan mystery that lures you in and while the country itself is situated in Africa, the people and culture of Morocco and Algeria are more closely related to the Middle East and European influences. For now, for me, it’s a luxurious dream.

Yet, I saw a photo of L’Mansion in Marrakech and the dream came alive – just picture yourself in this palace. Exotic romance must be on the horizon at this Andalucian style palace with only 7 guest suites and a 2 bedroom villa. I’ve never been there but doesn’t it captivate you? It sits among its own desert oasis with a staff to attend to limited guests and serve your every need, complete with spa. If you take a flight over – please report back. This seems to be one of those places that if you have to ask how much it costs – then maybe you can’t afford it. LOL

I loved Marrakesh and is high on the to-go-back-to list. Although, when I went there I did not stay in such luxury as this… maybe next time? It looks fabulous.
